Beef Gravy
OXO BROWN GRAVY
1/2 cup stock from roast
OR
1/4 cup drippings,
OR
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups boiling water
2 OXO beef cubes
Salt & Pepper, (optional)
Stir flour into stock from roast or add to fat.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly untill mixture bubbles;
If desired continue cooking until mixture browns.
Dissolve OXO beef cubes in boiling water and pour into flour-fat mixture
Stir to blend. Taste and add salt & pepper if desired.
Simmer about 5 minutes or until gravy thickens.
